Payment methods vary depending on
- Whether you pick up the item in person,
- the item is shipped to you, and
- the seller’s preferred payment methods.
The way you pay for an item is completely between you and the seller. Axebay
takes no part in the transaction and you have indemnified Axebay from any
liability or responsibility in the transaction when you agreed to the user
agreement. This being stated Axebay would as much as possible like to ensure you
a safe and enjoyable experience when purchasing items through our website.
Please see our Security document.
Paying in Person
Axebay understands that when purchasing a guitar most guitarists would prefer to
play the instrument before handing over their hard earned. If this is the case
for you then you would be picking up the item in person. In that situation cash
would normally be the preferred mode of payment. Never send cash through the
post.
Item is Shipped
If the item is shipped to you there are a variety of ways you could pay for the
item. Largely this depends on the seller’s preferred payment methods.
The easiest and safest method is PayPal. You can send money directly to anyone
with a PayPal account without revealing any of your financial information to the
seller. See www.paypal.com
If you don’t have a PayPal account and the seller does have a PayPal account you
can still send money to the seller through PayPal. The seller requests payment
from you through PayPal by submitting your email address to PayPal. You will
then receive an email from PayPal instructing you on how to pay.
Other Payment Methods
Other payment methods include bank transfer, Western Union, Bank or Cashier’s
Cheque (or Check for our American friends), credit card, money order and money
gram.
Some of these payment options are not secure. You should read our
Security
document for explanations of the security risks paying by these options.
